Course

Recent data suggest that vaccine hesitancy is a growing problem, specifically the number of parents who are opting children out of required school entry immunizations for non-medical reasons. Take this course to learn communication strategies that address the concerns of vaccine hesitant parents.

About this Independent Study

This activity was originally released on September 25, 2025 and is available for continuing education credit until September 24, 2027.

Most parents in the U.S. vaccinate their children, but there is more work to be done to meet the Healthy People 2030 goals. Recent data suggest that vaccine hesitancy is a growing problem, showing that since the COVID-19 pandemic there are more parents who view childhood immunizations as less safe, less important, and/or less effective.
