About
The purpose of this module is to introduce participants to the different types of data, how to read and interpret data, and the role of CHWs in collecting and using data.
Objectives:
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Define and identify the differences between quantitative and qualitative data
- Define and interpret common quantitative data including percentages, rates, incidence and prevalence
- Describe a process for collecting and analyzing qualitative data
- Read and interpret common data visualizations, including pie charts, bar graphs and line graphs
- Describe the role and responsibilities of CHWs with regards to research and data
- Identify how data can help CHWs in the performance of their duties
