We understand that the knowledge and skills of entry-level medical assistants widely differ, as there is no standard vaccine training curriculum for Medical Assisting schools. This course is approximately one hour in length and is designed for entry-level medical assistants and medical assistants who would like a refresher on best practices for immunizations.

Objectives
After completing this eLearning course, you will be able to:
1. Explain the importance of proper storage of vaccine and list key equipment requirements.
2. Summarize forecasting and locate the most up-to-date vaccine schedule for adults and pediatrics.
3. Describe the common errors related to vaccine administration.
4. List the seven rights of vaccine administration.
5. Describe best practices for administering subcutaneous and intramuscular vaccine to adults and children.
6. Describe the relationship between trust and professionalism as it relates to patient experience.
