Pre Exposure Prophylaxis, or PrEP, is a powerful biomedical tool that can help prevent new cases of HIV, yet many providers know little about it, and do not discuss it with their clients. This is especially true for staff who work within or are associated with the Indian Health Service (IHS) system of care and who see American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) clients.  PrEP Training for Community and Public Health Staff is a series of courses that aim to increase knowledge and awareness of the benefits of PrEP. This course, PrEP Basics, is the first of four in the series.
