About

The purpose of this training is to explain the teach-back communication technique in detail and provide an opportunity to practice this technique in a learning environment.

Objectives:

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the role of CHWs in promoting health literacy in clinical and community settings.
  • Describe use of teach-back in different health education scenarios.
  • Develop proficiency in practicing the health communication skill of teach-back.
  • CHWs may receive 1.5 DSHS certified CEUs for each webinar attended.
